The Semaine Internationale du Transport et de la Logistique (SITL) opened its doors today for its eighth annual conference, bringing together innovative products and services dedicated to the transport of goods, freight forwarding and the logistics chain.

With IRU part of the opening ceremony, Secretary General, Umberto de Pretto said,

“Our participation at SITL presents a valuable opportunity to put a spotlight on e-CMR and other digital innovations for transport and logistics users. Working together with the industry, we see a clear path to a more streamlined, efficient and transparent global transport network.”

e-CMR was presented by IRU member, Fédération Nationale des Transports Routiers (FNTR), showing the results of the launch facilitated by Transfollow which took place in January, with a cross-border transport of fruit between Huelva and Perpignan.
