IRU commends best Eurasian hauliers 2013 at Awards Ceremony in Yalta

The IRU rewarded this year’s winners of the “Best Eurasian Road Transport Operator” – an annual international contest that recognises road transport companies for their implementation of best practices in environmental protection, corporate social responsibility and economic performance – at an Awards Ceremony held in the framework of the IRU-ASMAP UA 14th International Road Transport Conference in Yalta today.

IRU President, Janusz Lacny, and IRU Secretary General, Umberto de Pretto, presented the trophies to the contest winners, namely Start Plus (Russia) – for the category of up to 10 vehicles, Gileya (Ukraine) – for the category of 11 to 50 vehicles and SP Raizing (Belarus) – for the category of more than 50 vehicles.

KK Timskor-Com (Moldova) was also rewarded for implementing high environmental standards for vehicles and Euro Truck (Kazakhstan) was recognised for high quality company standards.
