IRU is pleased to announce a Call for Applications to host the next IRU World Congress, which will take place in late 2018, in conjunction with our statutory meetings.
The Congress is a global platform for IRU members and the wider industry to engage with key issues for road transport in a proactive and positive way. The host decision will be based on a number of factors, ranging from logistical requirements and global media access to high-level political support and financial sustainability.
The Call for Applications document outlines the scope of the Congress, location requirements, expected benefits for the host country, and commitments needed from a potential host member and national government.
