Koen Kennis, Vice-Mayor of the city of Antwerp, will be opening the 3rd I-CVUE workshop on electric taxis to be held in Antwerp, Belgium on 25 October 2015. The workshop, organised by IRU Projects, will examine different examples of e-taxis adoption and the incentives and policies that support it. One session will be dedicated to highlighting Belgium’s positive initiatives on the current and future deployment of electric taxis.
UpTop, IRU’s global taxi network, will be presented as an example of innovation in the sector. The IRU lighthouse for electric taxis aimed at encouraging the reduction of fuel consumption and the adoption of electric vehicles in the taxi sector will also be showcased.
