FIAP joins IRU’s network with a focus on driving growth and progress for road hauliers and the entire sector.
Founded in 1949, the Federazione Italiana Autotrasportatori Professionali (FIAP) is a leading transport and logistics union in Italy. FIAP’s main objective is to encourage the growth of road hauliers, support their interests and bring them to the attention of national and international institutions in order to foster dialogue for the development and progress of the entire sector.
In joining IRU, FIAP aims to strengthen relations with international associations from the same sector and develop active participation in initiatives and activities on key relevant issues such as technical standards, labour and social protection matters, digitalisation of information, and safety in road traffic.
