IRU gets ahead of bus and coach curve

5 Sep 2018

IRU was in Riga this week giving insights into bus and coach sector disruption at the Association of Paneuropean Coach terminals'  (APC) 15th anniversary celebrations.

Focusing on the future of the industry with innovations in mobility as a service, IRU's senior advisor on passenger transport, Raluca Marian, also promoted new industry guidelines for the safe design and operation of bus and coach stations and highlighted contributions to the co-design of major urban feeder routes for the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T).

Comprising several public sessions, as well as a series of panel discussions with leaders from the European transport industry, the APC event examined what the next 15 years might bring for passenger transport.
