IRU welcomed a high level delegation from its Finnish Taxi Group member, Suomen Taskiliito. The meeting specifically focused on IRU’s vision for a mobility ecosystem where all mobility providers compete fairly in an innovative, socially-acceptable and environmentally friendly manner. The discussion also focused on the key role that taxis are playing in the reduction of transport-related emissions, increased safety and increased mobility efficiency. The IRU Lighthouse for Electric Taxis as well as UpTop, the IRU global taxi network, was also showcased.
The IRU Finnish Taxi Association will be intervening during the 7th IRU International Taxi Forum in the session on “Taxis, a key element for MaaS”. The Forum takes place in Cologne on 5 November 2016.
