The Federazione Autotrasportatori Italiani (FAI) has joined IRU as its newest member.
FAI, which represents the interests of road transport operators in Italy and beyond, has joined IRU to improve its engagement with the road transport sector, particularly with European institutions.
The organisation liaises between operators and the public sector, helping them to reach mutually beneficial solutions. It also assists its members in areas such as finance and training.
FAI works directly with organisations such as port authorities, transport safety bodies, and public sector environmental agencies.
Established nearly 60 years ago, FAI has over 8,600 members and is among the largest and oldest Italian road transport organisations. It joins IRU’s eight other member associations and companies from Italy.
