CONFEBUS becomes the latest member of IRU’s network, with a view to driving growth and progress for bus and coach operators and the entire transport sector.
Established in 2014, CONFEBUS is Spain’s first bus and coach confederation responsible for promoting the social and economic contributions of passenger road transport.
CONFEBUS represents more than 3,400 Spanish bus and coach companies encompassing a fleet of more than 42,000 vehicles and 80,000 workers, and generating revenue of more than EUR 3.5 billion on an annual basis.
In total, CONFEBUS members carry more than 1.750 million passengers per year and connect over 8,000 districts in Spain.
CONFEBUS joins IRU in promoting and advocating the interests of the road transport sector.
