Road transport 4.0: logistics automation from ships to trucks

I have been working in innovation, technology and business development for the past nine years in the maritime and logistics industry.

I’m currently involved in multiple projects within the electrification of transport, automation and digitalisation related to industry 4.0 from ships to terminals, trucks and in logistics. Technologies include the Internet of things (IoT), drones, robots, big data in automation and digitalisation.

My motivation is to find, test and evaluate new potential technology and business models for the maritime and logistics industry that benefit not only DFDS but also society by reducing emissions and increasing competitiveness.

I have experience working in international projects with partners and collaborators across Europe.

My main focus is to develop and maintain partnerships and relations with multiple stakeholders, both nationally and internationally, and turn this into new collaborations, innovations and business opportunities solving some of the most urgent challenges facing the company that I work for, DFDS.

I have a background in business administration (marketing, strategy and language/culture).I studied Spanish for six years and spent a semester in La Rioja, Spain.
