Forging sustainable transport in Asia and the Pacific

I have an interdisciplinary background in environmental science, economics and policy, as well as transport engineering and urban planning.

My work on sustainable transport has included transport emissions and energy modelling, policy scenario-building, and behavioural modelling on local, national, regional, and global levels, which guided policymakers in identifying sustainable transport policies.

I have also developed regional and global policy dialogues on transport and climate change, and examined the links between gender equality and transport decarbonisation measures.

My current work is focused on the implementation of the Regional Action Programme for Sustainable Transport Development in Asia and the Pacific (2022–2026) to support the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific member States in achieving their sustainable transport objectives through technology transfer, knowledge sharing, capacity-building, and greater regional cooperation and partnerships.
