Manager EU Goods Transport & Customs Affairs at IRU Brussels

Reporting to the Associate Director - EU Goods Transport, the EU Goods Transport & Customs Affairs will provide organisational and legislative support, and will play a critical role in leading IRU's advocacy on EU goods transport issues. Working closely with the Associate Director - EU Goods Transport and the Director EU Advocacy - General Delegate, the incumbent will contribute to the shaping and implementation of IRU's EU policy and develop trust-based relationships with members, relevant public and private partners, government officials, politicians, industry representatives and other third-party stakeholders. The role will also represent IRU on EU customs matters, reflecting the industry's positions in shaping EU customs reform, and will support IRU's TIR objectives by working closely with DG TAXUD and other EU public- and private-sector stakeholders involved in customs matters.

TIR Operations Specialist - Iraq

Reporting to the Senior Manager, TIR & Transit Development, the incumbent is responsible for handling TIR operational matters and ensuring continuous support for TIR and international road transport, promoting TIR to the business sector in Iraq, upscaling TIR usage and increasing TIR volume in the short/mid-term, growing TIR-friendly environments in Iraq and the region.
