The 11th Fuel Market Annual Conference, "Decisions for a Green Future", will once again bring together for one day decision-makers from the fuel and transport sectors, as well as public sector leaders, to look at the key issues facing the sector. At this year's annual sector event, a more comprehensive overview of the green turnaround in the transport sector in particular will be given and wil take a sharper look at excise duties and the transition to more sustainable transport.
This year's Annual Fuel Market Conference will exceptionally take place in spring, so that fuel market players and the transport sector can give their views to the new government coalition immediately after the elections and examine what the new government's energy and related taxation policies will be.
Raluca Marian, Director of EU Advocacy and Brussels General Delegate, will participate in the panel "Euro 7 pollution standards - what could be the real impact on the transport sector?" from 13:10 – 13:40.
The Euro 7 pollution standards for vehicles have been talked about for a long time, and the establishment of these standards is only a matter of time. How strict can these rules become and how much additional investment will it require from truck manufacturers and their buyers? What are the effects of the recently adopted decisions of the European Parliament on the transport sector?
