Are we fully aware and ready to reach 45% emissions reductions in HDVs by 2030? Implications for freight and logistics
The webinar is planned Thursday 21 March 2024 from 10:00 to 11.30 CET.
In April 2024, the European commission and parliament will vote on strengthening the European emission reduction standards for heavy-duty vehicles (buses, trucks and trailers). Heavy-duty vehicles are responsible for more than 25% of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from road transport in the EU and account for over 6% of total EU GHG emissions. The new emissions targets will be a reduction of -45% for the period of 2030-2034, 70% for 2035-2039 and 90% as of 2040.
In this webinar relevant association and logistic companies will share their opinion on the content, scope, and feasibility of the new standards.
Raluca Marian, IRU Director EU Advocacy & General Delegate will be speaking during the panel session with other relevant stakeholders discussing about the different points of view of core points of alignment on the event topic and considerations to debate.
Kindly note that the webinar is a free and open event.
