On 16th - 17th November at the Kempinski Hotel, Changsha, Hunan Province, experts, academics and professionals from around the world will meet for the 5th China International Logistics Development Conference.
Organised by CILT International and CILT China in partnership with CCTA, the conference carries the theme Connectivity, Integration and Development, and will focus on the creation of physical, digital and cultural links across Eurasia and the world.
The day will begin with greetings from representatives of the Chinese Government, the President of the CCTA, the leader of Hunan province and the Mayor of Changsha Municipal People’s Government. Delegates will then be able to engage with a series of presentations by domestic and international supply chain, logistics and transport experts.
The afternoon session will be divided into two parts, with the first entitled One Belt One Road, China-Europe Block Train City Co-operation and Development Summit, and devoted to a holistic view of the technology, best practice and future planning at the heart of the New Eurasian Land-bridge.
Following this will be the Women in Logistics and Transport (WiLAT) forum. WiLAT is the women’s forum within CILT, with a mission to promote the status of women in the supply chain, logistics and transport industries, to bring together those who aid the career development of women, and to provide a support network for women in the sector.
