IRU, in partnership with its member the Global Sustainable Transport Innovation and Knowledge Center (GSTIKC), is pleased to invite you and partners from governments, road transport associations, transport companies, OEMs, technology providers, research institutions, financial institutions and international organisations to the high-level Accelerating the Transition to Sustainable Road Transport: Market Trends, Policy Action and Innovation forum.
Taking place alongside CHINA TRANSPO 2026, the forum will provide a dedicated platform on how innovative technologies can address the operational challenges faced by operators while accelerating progress towards sustainability objectives.
The forum will explore how global and regional market trends, enabling policy frameworks, and technological innovation are increasing sustainability in road transport.
Drawing on market intelligence, operational data, and real-world case studies, participants will examine how different regions are advancing cleaner commercial transport and identify lessons that can be replicated across markets.
The discussion will focus on vehicle affordability, charging and refuelling infrastructure, energy availability, operational performance, and evolving business models. It will also look at the role of regulations, financing mechanisms, and targeted incentives in creating an enabling environment for investment and scale-up.
