The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is organising the 22nd Ministerial Conference (MC) of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Program, which will be held in Tbilisi, Georgia, on 30 November 2023.
The proposed theme for this year’s MC is “Reinvigorating Regional Cooperation in Times of Change.” The Conference will be attended by ministers and senior officials from 10 CAREC member countries, high-level representatives of key development partners, and the President of ADB.
The MC will be complemented by the CAREC Energy Investment Forum and the CAREC Regional Gender Expert Group Meeting to be held on 28–29 November 2023 in Tbilisi. This MC marks the first in-person CAREC MC since 2019 and it will deliberate on key challenges and opportunities to reinvigorate regional cooperation for shared growth amid the changing context in the CAREC region.
