Greening fleets

Yes to greening, No to mandates

The European Commission is considering proposing an EU law that would force road freight operators or their clients (shippers) to buy, operate, or otherwise use a fixed share of zero-emission vehicles, which means electric or hydrogen trucks.

This initiative, which is called Greening Corporate Fleets, is intended to support EU manufacturers in selling zero-emission trucks by making sure that transport operators will buy them.

There is an urgent need to send a strong signal to the European Commission that the road freight ecosystem does not need and does not want such an obligation. The decarbonisation of road freight is already taking place and it will increasingly take place when the financial and infrastructure conditions are ready and when the type of operation performed is compatible with these types of vehicles.

With your signature, you are invited to express a clear NO to any EU initiative that would force road transport players to buy zero-emission vehicles.

Who should sign

All goods transport associations, goods transport operators, intermediaries of goods transport, manufacturers, distributors, and any other clients of transport operators (generically referred to as shippers).

This petition should only be signed by one person per company.
