Harmonising Standards for Safer, More Efficient and Sustainable Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road

online | IRU event

The safe and efficient transport of dangerous goods is critical to global trade and industrial supply chains, particularly in the GCC region, where petrochemicals and hazardous materials play a central role throughout the industry’s value chain.

The United Nations Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) provides a globally recognised framework to enhance safety, operational efficiency and environmental performance.

Organised in collaboration with IRU, the world road transport organisation, the webinar aims to raise awareness of ADR standards and explore their relevance and adoption in the GCC and broader non-ADR countries in the Middle East, supporting harmonisation and improved compliance across borders.

Join our webinar to better understand ADR and its benefits for industry and regulators.

Key topics to be discussed:

  • What is ADR and why it matters for global logistics and supply chains
  • Latest updates and developments in ADR regulations
  • The role of ADR in enhancing safety, trade facilitation and supply chain resilience
  • Opportunities for harmonisation of standards across the GCC region
  • Practical insights for industry stakeholders to strengthen compliance and operational excellence
  • ADR packaging and placarding guide overview
