The 11th Economy and Logistics Summit, organised by UTA Logistics Magazine, will include the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, sectoral unions and associations.
This year, under the theme "The Logistics Sector in the Age of Global Crises: Transformation in the Supply Chain and Global Competition", the event will explore:
- The impact of wars, political and economic crises around the world on logistics and supply chains
- The transformation created by new trade routes
- The resilience of the sector against crises, the opportunities that arise, the main challenges, and innovative solutions
IRU President Radu Dinescu will speak during the President's session on 1 July, from 11:00 to 12:00.
The session, moderated by FIATA Senior Vice President Turgut Erkeskin, will cover:
- The impact of the wars in the Middle East on the global logistics sector
- How the logistics sector is responding to the new global situation
- The defining parameters of the new era in logistics
- The impact of technological advancements in transport modes on global trade
