Kazakh Tax ID (UIN) Required for EPD Acceptance
EPDs sent to Kazakhstan are being rejected due to missing Kazakh Tax ID (UIN) for TIR holders who are foreign individuals. A UIN must be indicated in TIR‑EPD for the declaration to be accepted by the KEDEN customs system.
The UIN is issued in Kazakhstan by customs authorities to non‑resident individuals upon presentation of an identity document. Users are advised to obtain the UIN in advance to avoid rejection of EPDs.
