The Inland Transport Committee, established in 1947, is the highest policy-making body of UNECE in the field of transport. During the course of the past 75 years, together with its subsidiary bodies, it has provided a unique intergovernmental forum where countries come together to forge tools for economic cooperation and adopt international legal instruments on inland transport.

On Tuesday 21, Umberto de Pretto, IRU Secretary General, will participate in the panel on "Bridging regulators and innovators to bring to scale critical technologies supporting climate change mitigation actions". 

On Friday 24, Tatiana Rey-Bellet, IRU Director TIR & Transit will be part of the roundtable on "Defining the impact of consecutive crises on the effectiveness of international transport and supply chains – is backtracking from globalization a sustainable solution?".

Jens Hügel, IRU Senior Adviser, will be part of the discussions.
