The EU International Business Forum on Transport and Strategic Corridors aims to boost investment in the transport sector, in line with the European Union's Global Gateway strategy.
The forum will bring together 500 participants from public institutions, private companies, financial actors and development partners. They will explore projects, partnerships, and financing along the Abidjan–Lagos and Abidjan–Ouagadougou corridors.
IRU Director Certification & Standards Patrick Philipp will discuss IRU's new EU-funded project on modernising road transport sectors in Central Asia and Africa.
The project aims to improve the sector’s safety, efficiency and sustainability, as well as supporting formalisation, professionalisation, digitalisation, and decarbonisation efforts.
