ELA (The European Labour Authority) is organising a new Road Show dedicated to Romanian road transport operators in Bucharest, on 7 September, which will be attended by experts from ELA, but also from other EU Member States. The event will take place exclusively in physical format, the official language of the event will be Romanian, and ELA will provide translation into several languages.
The event will focus on 2 aspects, namely: driver posting and driving and rest times. Each session starts with a presentation by the European Commission and a presentation by the RO national authorities, followed by a question and answer session and/or discussion. There is then a session for other Member States to present their national practices.
Raluca Marian, IRU Director of EU Advocacy and Brussels General Delegate will be participating in this event.
