Connecting International Trade, Improving Predictability, Driving Climate Action Towards Connected, Inclusive, Digital and Sustainable Road Transport and Supply Chains
Jointly organised by Türkiye’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, TOBB and IRU, this high-level event brings together public and private sector leaders to advance sustainable connectivity, facilitate international transport, and promote a more gender-diverse, skilled and digitally enabled road transport and logistics sector.
IRU President Radu Dinescu will speak at the Ministerial Roundtable on the Global Green Freight Corridors Initiative, taking place from 11:00 to 13:00 (Blue Zone, Special Event Room 2).
Hosted by Türkiye’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, UNECE and ESCAP, the roundtable will launch the Global Green Freight Corridors Initiative (GGFCI), a platform to accelerate international cooperation on sustainable freight corridors.
The event will close with the signing of the TOBB–IRU Joint Private Sector Declaration, in the presence of Türkiye’s Minister of Transport and Infrastructure.
Radu Dinescu will speak at the event, alongside TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and H.E. Abdülkadir Uraloğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Türkiye.
