The 4th ITF Regional High-Level Dialogue for Asia, themed Building Resilient and Seamless Freight Connectivity across Asia and Europe: Strengthening Corridors for Sustainable and Reliable Supply Chains, will be co-hosted by Uzbekistan's Ministry of Transport.
This is a premier platform initiated by ITF Secretary-General Young Tae Kim, providing a unique, high-level space for regional collaboration and fostering knowledge sharing on key topics such as sustainable mobility, digitalisation, decarbonisation, connectivity, and investment strategies.
The event enables governments and stakeholders to align transport policies with economic, social, and environmental goals, strengthening cooperation across borders.
The main objectives of the dialogue include:
- Facilitating high-level discussions among transport ministers and senior officials
- Promoting knowledge sharing on policies and best practices in sustainable transport, enhanced connectivity, digital transformation, and infrastructure investment
- Strengthening regional cooperation and partnerships for sustainable and resilient transport solutions
- Identifying key policy recommendations to align with global sustainable development goals
This event will be held in parallel with Translogistica Uzbekistan 2025, the largest exhibition in Central Asia that brings together leaders in transport, logistics and technology.
IRU Secretary General Umberto de Pretto will speak during the opening session and ministerial meeting. He will share IRU’s vision and commitment to strengthening the connectivity, sustainability and resilience of regional transport corridors.
