Bridging Borders Governance: Digital Connectivity, Investment and Regional Integration for Sustainable Development

This conference is jointly organised by the CAREC Institute and the Beijing National Accounting Institute, bringing together policymakers, multilateral development banks, researchers and industry representatives from across the CAREC region.

The two-day programme explores how digital connectivity, sustainable infrastructure investment and regional cooperation can reduce cross-border frictions and strengthen transport corridors.

IRU will take part across several sessions, contributing its perspective on regional integration and infrastructure investment, the digitalisation of road transport and the interoperability of eTIR, eCMR and electronic permits, supply chain coordination and cargo security along CAREC corridors, and the role of artificial intelligence and connected vehicles in cross-border road transport.
