European Hydrogen Week is the largest EU event dedicated to hydrogen.
The 2026 edition, “Scaling hydrogen, strengthening resilience”, is expected to bring more than 8,000 participants to Brussels. It is co-organised by the European Commission, Hydrogen Europe and the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, in partnership with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization.
The programme covers policy, business, technology, research, finance and funding. The High-Level Policy Conference, the Innovation Forum and the B2B Forum take place on 27 and 28 October, alongside the exhibition. Participants can join a site visit to the Port of Antwerp-Bruges on 29 October, and online activities close the week on 30 October.
IRU EU Director Raluca Marian will speak on 28 October, from 10:00 to 11:00, in the session Hydrogen road mobility at a crossroads: aligning policy, infrastructure and investment for scale.
The session brings together industry and policymakers to discuss how Europe can build a commercially viable hydrogen mobility market that also supports its competitiveness, resilience and decarbonisation objectives.
