The 2nd Global Logistics Forum will be held in Riyadh from 29 November to 1 December 2026, under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and organised by Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services.
As part of the forum, the plenary panel, Logistics as the Engine of Trade Growth, will examine how global trade is reorganising around new consumer markets, shifting production hubs, and rising expectations for speed and reliability.
The world's largest logistics operators are no longer merely moving goods; they are building the networks, capacity, data systems, and services that allow companies to reach new customers, suppliers to access global value chains, and economies to convert demand into growth.
The panel will explore where the next wave of trade growth will come from, and how logistics networks can remove the bottlenecks standing in its way.
IRU Secretary General Habib Turki will discuss the role of road transport in unlocking the next wave of global trade growth.
