Established in Geneva in 2020, the China Automobile Standards Internationalization Center (CASIC) is dedicated to advancing the internationalisation of automotive standards and regulations while fostering closer cooperation between the Chinese automotive industry and the international community.
CASIC works to facilitate and deepen participation in the development and coordination of international automotive standards and regulations, including within the framework of the United Nations, ISO, IEC, ITU and WTO. It acts as a bridge between international organisations, government authorities, research institutions and industry, facilitating technical exchange, dialogue and international cooperation on automotive standards and regulations with a particular focus on emerging technological and regulatory developments.
