FENATRAN 2026

Sao Paulo | IRU event

Fenatran is Latin America’s largest trade fair for the transport and logistics sector, bringing together manufacturers, operators, policymakers and industry associations from across the region for four days of exhibitions, seminars and high-level discussions on the future of freight transport.

IRU will take part throughout the event, contributing its perspective on some of the most pressing issues facing Brazil’s logistics sector today: the transition to more sustainable and low-emission freight transport, international transit facilitation through the TIR system, road safety and cargo theft, and the professional development of the driving workforce.

On Tuesday 10 November, IRU will present the IRU Green Compact as part of the Sustainable Transport Forum, before joining industry leaders from Scania, Prometeon and Randoncorp in a strategic discussion on the technologies and business models accelerating the decarbonisation of heavy-duty transport.

The forum will also showcase sustainable solutions already delivering results across the Brazilian market, and present the E-Dutra project, a collaborative initiative to build a low-emission freight corridor between Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

The following day, IRU will host a seminar with Brazil’s Ministry of Transport and NTC&Logística, bringing together governments, law enforcement and the private sector to address cargo theft, Brazil’s implementation of TIR transit, and strategies to tackle the shortage of drivers.

The event closes on Thursday 12 November, where IRU has been invited by SETCESP, one of Latin America’s leading freight transport industry associations, to present its global work on women’s participation in the road transport sector at the 4th Women’s Forum in Transport and Logistics.
