Launch of ASYCUDA World and reconnection of TIR-EPD
According to the official announcement of the customs authorities of Tajikistan, ASYCUDA World system has become operational in the country since 1 October 2025, and all transport operators are now requested to submit advance cargo information (electronic preliminary information, EPI), at least two hours before a truck arrives at the border.
The deployment of ASYCUDA World system in Tajikistan covers all customs regimes, including import-export and transit, and customs handing of cargo and vehicles with the aim to enhance transparency and streamline operations.
To support TIR holders, TIR-EPD has been successfully integrated into ASYCUDA World system and enables now the submission of EPI without applying for intermediary services. Please note that alternative options to transmit EPI currently might be limited.
Customs authorities of Tajikistan therefore encourage transport operators to use TIR carnets and submit EPI via TIR-EPD to avoid unnecessary delays and benefit from streamlined procedures and smooth transit.
