An intellectual life dedicated to Greek supply chain excellence

I’m an Assistant Professor at the Department of Financial and Management Engineering at the Greek University of Aegean’s School of Engineering and serve as Deputy Director of the Design, Operations and Production Systems (DeOPSys) research lab.

I have significant experience as a logistics expert, having collaborated with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, the World Bank and the European Commission's Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport.

During the past 20 years, I have participated in over 70 research projects and 250 industrial projects and published seven international edited volumes on the management of supply chains and more than 100 scientific articles. 

As the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Logistics Association and official Member at the Hellenic Committee for the Development and Competitiveness of the Logistics sector, I offer pro bono advisory services to the Greek government concerning supply chain strategies and policies.

I’m also a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece, the Economic Chamber of Greece, and the European Technical Chamber.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Essex (UK), a master’s degree in Mobile and Satellite Communications from the University of Surrey (UK), and a master’s in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick (UK). 

I obtained my PhD from the Department of Management Science and Technology at the Athens University of Economics and Business.
