It analyses job satisfaction across seven key European road freight markets among various driver groups, segmented by gender, age, country, distance travelled, type of driver, and company size.
The findings revealed that more than half of truck drivers are very satisfied with their jobs. British and French drivers reported the highest levels of satisfaction.
Solutions to attract and retain drivers align closely with the key issues identified. Over 90% of drivers prioritise improved access to well-equipped rest areas and better treatment at delivery sites.
