The IRU x Ti x Upply European road freight rates index shows that the trend has reversed since the last quarter. The benchmark index for contract rates remains above spot rates. However, the contract rates index has remained flat, with no change quarter on quarter, whereas it had fallen in Q2 compared with Q1. The spot rate index on the other hand has decreased by 4.4 index points quarter on quarter, whereas it had risen in Q2 compared with Q1.
