The coach driver’s checklist

The coach driver’s checklist is a two sided A4 sheet of tips and guidelines for Coach Drivers to follow to ensure a safe and comfortable journey. The first subsection, ‘Are you prepared?’ targets the driver’s personal wellbeing: the coach driver’s life as well as those of passengers and other road users depend on the alertness and reactions he/she will have in an emergency situation. The second section ‘ …and is everything else ready?’ is a checklist pertaining to the vehicle itself as well as to the passengers: are safety belts fastened, is everything in good working order, is the vehicle’s documentation complete and is the route ok for a coach? The third and final section includes safety tips for extra road safety.
