Golden Chariot International Transport Award

Recognising groundbreaking work that pushes the boundaries of innovations in the transport industry.

The Golden Chariot is a series of independent international transport awards, organised by the Foundation of Implementation of Social Programs, a non-profit organisation based in Vienna, Austria.

IRU supports these awards, helping to empower our industry by recognising outstanding achievement and innovation in transport. There are five categories:

Transportation

Including: International Transport Company of the Year

Infrastructure

Including: Most Innovative Project in Road Traffic Industry

Technology

Including: Most Innovative in Sustainable Transport Engineering

General

Including: Most Effective Investment in Transport Industry

Special Category

Including: Project of the Year in the Transport Industry

 

This year's award ceremony takes place in Geneva on 27 and 28 March, 2017 and will coincide with 70th anniversary of the foundation of the UN Transport Unit. The event will include a panel of experts discussing issues on environmental protection and transport, and a gala and concert dinner in celebration.
