IRU champions road transport excellence in Eurasia

6 Sep 2017

Recognising best practice across a range of areas including the environment, corporate social responsibility and economic performance, IRU announces the winners of the “Best Eurasian Road Transport Operator” award today at the 18th IRU-AsMAP UA International Conference in Odessa.

Chairman of the jury, AsMAP UA President, Leonid Kostiuchenko, said:
“The jury had a very difficult task to choose winners in each category from a shortlist of over 20. Against a challenging context of rapid industry change, we were pleased by the quality of the candidates nominated by the respective national associations”.

This year’s winners are:

  • “Goellner Spedition” PJSC (Ukraine) – up to 10 vehicles

  • Private Entrepreneur Belyanin Sergey Mikhailovich (Russia) and “Eurasia Trans Team” LLP (Kazakhstan) –  from 11 to 50 vehicles

  • “Intertransavto” LLC (Belarus) – more than 50 vehicles

The jury also awarded special certificates to “Dolf-Man” LLC (Kyrgyzstan) for geographical expansion of transport operations and to “ProLiv” JLLC (Belarus) for high environmental fleet standards.

Winners from Belarus and Ukraine were presented with trophies and certificates by IRU Secretary General, Umberto de Pretto and Mr Kostiuchenko, who is also President of the IRU Liaison Committee to Eurasia and a member of IRU’s Presidential Executive.
