IRU briefs TRACECA governments on key regional transport trends

IRU attended TRACECA’s high-level annual meeting to brief member states and observer countries on major border challenges and opportunities confronting the road transport industry due to evolving routes.
Road transport organisations ink agreement to tackle major challenges
IRU and the International Road Federation (IRF) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to reinforce their long-standing collaboration. Road transport operators, infrastructure providers, and users are essential in connecting people, businesses, and societies all over the world.
Implementing the EU’s Mobility Package 1: where do we stand one year on?
One year on from the main EU Mobility Package 1 (MP1) provisions entering into force, IRU brought together the road transport industry and enforcement groups in a workshop to assess the situation. Since February 2022, most of the EU’s MP1 provisions have been in force. The industry is working under new rules governing driving and rest periods, the posting of drivers, and access to the road transport market and profession.
Driving earthquake relief efforts in Syria and Türkiye
