The IRU SmartMove City Trophy is awarded biennially. It acknowledges and rewards municipal authorities anywhere in the world that implement exemplary proactive policies favouring sustainable group tourism by coach.

In 2015: Last year, Dresden, Germany was a second-time winner for the IRU Smart Move City Trophy for its continuously updated dynamic and flexible coach parking and guidance system.

Skopje, Macedonia declared world’s most coach-friendly city.
The SmartMove City Trophy is part of the global set of Smart Awards. These Awards recognise innovation and excellence in promoting, facilitating and operating bus and coach services. Judged by independent international juries, there are four categories: operators in urban and interurban markets, city authorities, coach tourism and a new award for research and innovation.
