Buses and coaches replace up to 80 cars. While those 80 cars would use around 640 litres of fuel per 100/km a coach only need 32 which means 87% less. In other words one car driver produces 20 kg CO2 per 100 km wereas a bus or a coach passenger is only responsible for 1 kg of CO2 per 100 km.
