The right priority! - Reducing toxic emissions (NOx) over non-toxic emission (CO2)
In order to drastically reduce NOx emission levels, technical measures, such as non optimal injection and combustion timing to reach a lower combustion temperature, were implemented. However this has led to a technical trade off between reducing toxic emissions while increasing fuel consumption thus CO2 emissions !
