The TIR system is highly dependant on risk management, and one of the core elements of risk management is training. The IRU Training team provides services that are designed to build the necessary expertise in order for the actors involved in the system to perform their tasks at the required standards.

There are various resources available electronically to contribute to the smooth functioning of the TIR system, such as the TIR Distance Learning Package (under development), and face to face training can also be delivered on site or in Geneva, depending on the requirements of the participants.  

TIR TRAINING SEMINARS

Live TIR training sessions are available on request for TIR Associations & Customs authorities.  Training is obligatory for countries wishing to be admitted to the TIR system and can be organised to offer support to TIR operational countries.
