The Link to Financial Viability – The Need to establish the Bill

There is a cost pressure on the transport industry since unlike payment for other infrastructure – like port, telephone, water - payment for road usage is indirect and mixed with other financing which results in no transparency and lack of fairness. The World Bank has sought to promote dedicated, reliable, transparent, participatory road network management financing through Road Fund Schemes.
