Today, transportation is considered as the indispensable segment of each county's economy without which the development of the economy is hardly imaginable. It is the forerunner and the spurring force of the economic growth. The interrelation existing between the level of industrial growth and transportation expansion on one hand, and their relationship with the country's development ton the other hand have rendered transportation as a criterion indicative of a country's development. The huge investments required for tooling and dies and common platform production are the major drawbacks of adapting a 'from scratch' strategy for production, far from being economical.

Therefore, taking the current conditions and limitations into consideration we suppose the commercial vehicle industry in Iran has to compromise with what is already rewarding.
