The IRU Academy is pleased to announce the accreditation of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce – ATT Training Centre, SCC-ATT (Serbia) in the IRU Academy Dangerous Goods (ADR) Programme.
Already accredited for the CPC Manager Programme since February 2007, SCC-ATT is developing its training capabilities further with this new accreditation for ADR training.

Road transport stakeholders call on EU to promote freight transport efficiency
|

Exploring “Efficiency in road transport” at the 62nd IAA International Motor Show for Commercial Vehicles, the road transport industry stressed the need to allow cross-border circulation of longer heavier vehicles - Modular Concept - on a European scale, as it increases transport efficiency and positively affects both the environment and road safety, creating better rather than more transport.

IRU addresses WTO Public Forum 2008
|

|
Addressing the session on “Trade Facilitation – Impossible without Facilitating Logistics” held in the framework of the WTO Public Forum “Trading into the Future”, IRU Head of Goods Transport and Facilitation, Peter Krausz, said, “Despite the failure of the Doha Round, trade facilitation negotiations should nonetheless be concluded, since they are on the right track and are expected to have a very positive impact on the facilitation of international logistics.”
Peter Krausz’s proposal was welcomed and supported by a panel composed of representatives from the UNECE, the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA), the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS), and the Global Express Association (GEA).
