Train the Trainer

The IRU Academy organises 'Train the Trainer' sessions to guarantee that all IRU Academy Programme training is harmonised and meets high quality training standards.

With the objective to consolidate all the key skills required to deliver IRU Academy training in full compliance with the latest legislative framework and to ensure that the training offered by the IRU Academy Accredited Training Institutes meets IRU Academy standards, the IRU Academy organises Train the Trainer events. These events are organised for each IRU Academy Programme and are available to instructors of Accredited Training Institutes. Safe Loading and Cargo Securing

The IRU Academy Safe Loading and Cargo Securing Train the Trainer is an interactive classroom training session that will equip instructors with the knowledge and skills to deliver high quality training to transport operators, drivers, loaders and all road transport professionals involved in loading and securing cargo. The training includes an overview of most up-to-date legislation relevant to the subject including the recent revision of the CEN standard EN12195-1 as well as theory and practice on cargo loading and securing. During this course, information, references and resources will be presented and reviewed, and instructors will be able to get highly exposed in the use of the IRU Academy Safe Loading and Cargo Securing Programme.

Tachograph Programme

The IRU Academy Tachograph Train the Trainer is supported by an interactive on-line training tool and involves the use of simulators with emphasis on training methodology whilst ensuring that sufficient focus is placed on the understanding of the EU Regulations, the AETR Agreement and the use of the recording devices.

Transport of Dangerous Goods (ADR) Programme

The IRU Academy ADR Train the Trainer is an interactive training session using modern learning materials with emphasis placed on methodology and practical exercises on the use of the ADR Agreement.

CPC Manager Programme

The IRU Academy CPC Manager Train the Trainer will equip instructors with the background information, knowledge, methods, and tools to establish and deliver high quality CPC Manager trainings. During this course, information and teaching references and resources will be presented and reviewed, and instructors will be continually asked to contribute their know-how through interactive exercises and activities. As a result of the initiatives of the IRU Academy's Regional Collaboration in the Middle East, the CPC Manager ME Programme is available, tailored to meet regional needs and comply with regional legislation. 

CPC Driver Programme

This course will equip instructors with the background information, knowledge, methods, and tools to establish and deliver high quality CPC Driver Trainings. During this course, information, teaching references and resources will be presented and reviewed, and instructors will be continually asked to contribute their know-how through interactive exercises and activities. Two tracks of this course are available, depending on the region and legislative requirements in play.
